Our Story

Community Youth Collaborative began as a local community organizing circle and education movement in 2019 with the help of local Community Learning Center in Lincoln. Our mission is to focus on community education that highlights STEAM services. We soon became recognized as an empowered collection of leaders—engaging with more and more people, adding more and more supporters, and amplifying more and more voices.

Community Youth Collaborative leads campaigns that promote healthy communities through healing practices. We are transforming ourselves to recognize individual identity, intersectional justice and social conditions for community & youth empowerment.  Our focus is to decolonize learning, collect and share stories through visual arts projects, reconnect ourselves to the land, and engage community & youth healing through afterschool programming.
