Community Learning Centers

We support the visions of building enrichment programming through Community Learning Centers at our local public schools.  CLC has built an environment of support and helpful resources to make sure that the youth are included. Our success is driven by the hearts, minds, and souls of our mutual educational liberation.

Community Healing Garden

The Community Healing Garden is an essential space for an Intertribal mindset. Much of our work centers around healing, hope and inclusion. We give our deepest gratitude to Zeller Home Inspections for their generous donation. The Community Healing Garden is maintained by the Garden Club at LHS.

Turtle Island Earth Celebration

Every Earth Day, Community Youth Collaborative will help facilitate the Annual Turtle Island Earth Celebration. Similar to a procession of species, the Annual Turtle Island Earth Celebration will combine the co-creators visions, knowledge, the humanities and arts.

Hands On

Artists Collaborative

Community Youth Collaborative honors hands on experiences.  Retreats and multimedia projects are essential to the educational programming for any scholar.

We offer a rich community of artists. Our hope is to inspire and promote Community Youth Collaborative through engaging creatively and interweaving critical issues we face through the power of art. Join this community of artists and scientists as we work towards a better and more just world.

Living History: A  Geographical Tour of Nebraska

We are living in a deeply divided United States.  Join Community Youth Collaborative as we journey across the geography of the Nebraska and beyond to examine the complex cultural divisions between Tribal Nations, North and South America and civil liberties.  We will examine federal and state policies from the past and today that have resulted in personal loss and resilience.

Identity Studies

We are focused on identity studies, harvesting storytelling, and deep healing.  The purpose of our club is to uplift youth voices and their journey to making the world a better place for all.

Educational Chautauqua

A Study of Culture, Ecology, Economics, and History through the Humanities and Arts

Started by our dedicated and visionary leaders, Turtle Island Earth Celebration has grown into a transformational club. We emphasize Black, Brown, Native Women, Girls and Boys, Gender Minorities, and European American Histories to promote everything we do, setting bold goals and pursuing a nature based study, we seek to move the needle with after school programming. We are constantly growing and adapting to the complexes of society, and invite students to learn more about how we can make a positive impact. We Are Community!

We work to ensure the community and local leaders have the resources and opportunities to support youth's ecological and cultural studies. We see our program as a collective effort to connecting and building a stronger movement to protecting Mother Earth, Educational Opportunities, and Collective Wellbeing.

The Community Youth Collaborative values the many organizations who invest in Harvesting the Hope through Ecological Sustainability, Food Justice, and Community.
